This page explains the storage and external connections used by this website. Cookies are browser-stored values; similar mechanisms include local storage.
1. Default website behaviour
The website’s own JavaScript sets no cookies or local-storage preferences. It includes no analytics or advertising trackers. Earlier versions stored a notice acknowledgement under dotlex-cookie-choice or cookiesAccepted; those values are no longer read or written. You may remove them through your browser’s site-data settings.
There is no accept/reject banner on this website. This does not establish that third-party services are exempt from consent requirements. The hosting service’s cookie behaviour has not yet been verified.
2. External connections
Google Fonts is requested on page load to display the site’s typography. This is a transfer of technical request data even without a tracking cookie and has no separate activation control. See the Privacy Policy.
Tally is embedded directly in the home page’s contact section. Its official embed script is requested on opening the home page; the browser may defer the lazy iframe until the contact section approaches the viewport. There is no separate load or consent button. The live form also includes an optional newsletter subscription checkbox, separate from visiting or submitting the form. The embedded form makes requests to Tally’s API and a Sentry error-monitoring endpoint; Tally lists Sentry as a United States subprocessor. Its form and infrastructure may use storage or additional requests according to the provider’s current configuration. We have not established a complete inventory of third-party storage for the live form; do not interpret loading as consent to undisclosed advertising or analytics.
Three.js and Vanta.NET are served locally. No animation CDN connection is made by visitors.
3. Control your choice
There is no site-level switch to block or unload Tally. You can restrict third-party requests through browser settings or a content blocker. To request deletion or withdraw applicable consent, email peter@dotlex.ch. You can contact us by email without submitting the form; opening the home page may already connect to Tally.
Browser privacy controls let you block or delete cookies and other site data, including third-party storage. Some external features may then stop working. There is no persistent site preference or cookie-settings panel to reopen. A page visit or form submission is not consent to unrelated marketing or tracking.
4. Legal context
Swiss rules require appropriate information and choices for relevant processing; the need for consent depends on the processing and applicable law. Where national rules implementing EU ePrivacy requirements apply, storage or access beyond what is strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user generally requires prior consent. Not every cookie requires consent, and a network request is not automatically a cookie. Data protection duties can apply even without cookies. The direct embed does not obtain prior consent; any non-essential storage or access requiring consent must be prevented until that consent is obtained.
